'Travellers' was written a few years back and was inspired by the story of the Pilgrims, who sailed from Tricia's home city - Plymouth, UK, to America, in September 1620. Our original working title for the song was 'Mayflower', the name of the ship that they sailed on.

Lyrics

They set sail at early light
Soon the land was out of sight
Those left behind sang 'fare thee well'
Their voices carried on the swell

For many weeks they sailed west
The wind and sea would give no rest
Some were lost could not be saved
Now they sleep beneath the waves

Ooh and still they travelled on
Ooh still searching for a home

When they landed on the shore
Some settled there, some wanted more
So they travelled further still
Crossing plains and climbing hills

Ooh and still they travelled on
Ooh still searching for a home

I wonder where we're gonna be
In another century
The quest within us is so strong
To find somewhere we can belong

Ooh and still we travel on
Ooh still searching for a home

Now we're reaching for the stars
They say one day we'll walk on Mars
Those who follow us may be
Travellers like you and me

Ooh and still we travel on
Ooh one day we'll find a home
